Sistem Pencatatan Konsumsi Air PDAM Berbasis Geolokasi Menggunakan Aplikasi Seluler

PDAM adalah perusahaan daerah air minum yang bekerja untuk menyediakan air bersih di kota-kota besar. Proses pencatatan meter PDAM saat ini masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga sering terjadi kesalahan dan data yang dihasilkan menjadi tidak akurat. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu sistem informasi yang dapat membantu dalam proses pencatatan sehingga data yang dihasilkan memiliki tingkat kesalahan yang minimal. Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan aplikasi pencatatan meter berbasis Android. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan dapat membantu dalam proses pencatatan meter sehingga data hasil pencatatan meter menjadi lebih valid dan akurat, serta dapat memudahkan petugas dalam menemukan alamat pelanggan.
