Pengendalian Kecepatan Treadmill Secara Otomatis Menggunakan Sensor PPG Smartwatch Berbasis Single Board Computer

Latihan treadmill atau olahraga menggunakan treadmill merupakan salah satu jenis olahraga yang dapat melatih otot jantung (kardio) karena menerapkan gerakan berjalan, berjalan cepat, dan berlari. Dalam melakukan latihan ini, denyut jantung seharusnya digunakan sebagai indikator dalam berolahraga. Pada treadmill konvensional terdapat sensor denyut jantung untuk mengetahui denyut jantung pengguna treadmill, namun data dari sensor tersebut tidak digunakan sebagai pengaturan kecepatan pada treadmill, melainkan hanya untuk mengetahui besarnya denyut jantung saat melakukan latihan treadmill. Dengan berkembangnya sensor PPG pada smartwatch yang dikombinasikan dengan treadmill, pengendalian kecepatan otomatis akan didasarkan pada data denyut jantung pengguna. Diharapkan dengan pengembangan alat ini, pengguna treadmill dapat mencapai target olahraga yang diinginkan.
